Rule

The word “obedience” to most is so unappealing…

It gives connotations of humility, and submission which directly counteract our selfish nature.

By our nature WE RULE…

Yes, it’s quite that simple actually… Our life, our choices, and our destiny. We control the where, what, and how. However when circumstances arise that alter our reality, we either fight or flight. By fleeting we blame others for our short fall and never face our real enemies. By fighting we avoid the variables and pursue our dream regardless of people or things we destroy on our way.

It’s so much easier to RULE, than to obey.

Having to submit to someone else or thing, requires an enormous amount of trust. It compels us to place our future in someone or something else’s hand. But life has conditioned us to not trust people, or things. Trust that we have seen has always lead us to disappointment, and hurt.

In our thirst to RULE ourselves, we become slaves and subject to the forces around us. What we perceive as power, is really an abandonment to our flux of emotions and ever shifting perspectives. It is impossible for any one to assume exclusive rights to an all encompassing perspective. We are temporal, shallow creatures that thirst for eternity, yet fall short every time. In attempts to create our own template to RULE and live, we shortchange ourselves from the capability to experience life in abundance… and instead dwell in it’s depravity.
